How does HeyBins work?
You book online, choose your bin count and rental window, and we deliver clean bins to your door. Pack, move, and we pick them up when you're done. No cardboard to break down or recycle — just drop the lids and go.
What areas do you serve?
We currently deliver within Frederick County, MD. Enter your ZIP at checkout to confirm availability. We're expanding — if your ZIP isn't covered yet, leave your email and we'll notify you.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is shown at checkout and depends on bin count and rental length. Typical 2-week rentals run $1.50–$2.50 per bin per day with a flat delivery fee. Volume discounts apply for 20+ bins.
How big are the bins?
Our standard bins are 27-gallon heavy-duty totes with lids — roughly the size of a large wardrobe box, but stackable and load-bearing. Each bin holds up to 50 lbs.
What is the security deposit?
A refundable deposit is collected at checkout: $25 for 1–10 bins, $50 for 11+ bins. It's returned to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after pickup, minus any damage charges.
When is the deposit released?
Within 5–7 business days of the pickup date, once we've confirmed the bins are returned in good condition. You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes — contact us before your scheduled pickup date and we'll extend at the daily rate. Extensions are subject to availability. If you miss the pickup without notice, overage fees apply automatically.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel 48+ hours before delivery: full refund. Cancel within 48 hours: delivery fee is forfeited. Same-day cancellation after dispatch: full rental fee is forfeited. Deposits are always refunded on cancellation.
Do you provide packing supplies?
Add-on packing kits (bubble wrap, packing paper, tape, markers) are available at checkout for an additional fee. Bins ship clean but don't include packing materials by default.
What if a bin arrives damaged or dirty?
Report it within 24 hours of delivery and we'll swap it out at no charge. We sanitize every bin between uses, but if one slips through, we want to know immediately.
Do I need to clean the bins before pickup?
Remove all contents. Bins don't need to be spotless, but excessive filth, staining, or infestation incurs a cleaning fee. We handle standard cleaning.
Can businesses or real estate agents book?
Absolutely. We work with property managers, staging companies, and commercial movers. Contact us for volume pricing and recurring delivery arrangements.
Is HeyBins a franchise?
Yes. HeyBins is a platform for independent franchise operators in each service area. Your local operator fulfills your order. All operators follow the same service standards and pricing framework.
